My intention in offering yoga and
meditation is to teach and remind all of us to bring awareness to our lives:
awareness of the present moment here in this body and mind, awareness of our
breath and sensations, and awareness of our posture. When we bring awareness to
our body in these ways, the awareness of our mind follows, allowing more ease in
our days and nights. Calm body and mind may not always be the case, but our
increased ability to be aware of what we are doing allows us to be more fully
alive, no matter what situation we face. Our struggling is reduced as our
awareness expands.
My own practice, workshops,
classes, and private one-on-one sessions are based on cultivating these age-old principals of awareness. My aim
is to guide you in your own experience as you discover and deepen your
awareness. Safety and support are a trademark of my teaching and classes as well
as both energizing and calming the spirit.
I invite you to experience focused
balanced yoga and meditation in beginner-mind openness no matter what level of practice you
have, no matter what age, no matter what physical and mental flexibility.
